Well, we are getting really close now – Paul & I are running the Philadelphia Marathon in 10-days (November 22, 2009). Some of you have ‘tracked’ me in the past when we ran the Marine Corps Marathon and you were asking if there was going to be a way to do the same in Philly. Well, now I have an answer for you…YES you can. Follow this link to follow my progress at I run 26.2 miles through the streets of Philadelphia.
We only have four more training runs until race day. I cannot wait! We have done all of our training so I am feeling really good heading into this final little taper period. My goal time is between 4:45 and 4:55. If I am closer to 4:55 I will be a little bummed, but if I am closer to 4:45 then I will be really happy. So you know if you track me and my time is over the goal range…we will never speak of it again! I made my goal a time range because you never know what mother nature will throw at us, but I am optimistic that it will be a great day. So if you are up early on November 22nd race starts at 7am) check out our progress. Here is the info you will need:
