
To be honest, I do not do much ‘ab’ training in the gym with my clients. I do not really see the point of lying on the floor crunching around when this does not mimic any functional activity that we do…other than maybe getting out of bed in the morning. On the other hand, I know that many of you are going to be doing crunches at home or running through those workouts that you find in the fitness magazines that will have you doing thousands of reps. Here is a mid ground workout. I am giving you your beloved crunches while teaching you some of the stabilization exercises that I think have more functional value. Do we have a deal?
